What it does

Keep Xero in sync with your store — both ways

From the sale to the refund to the payment, BookSync mirrors your WooCommerce activity into Xero so your accounts are always up to date.

🧾

Orders → invoices

New orders become Xero ACCREC invoices — one line per item, shipping included, GST inclusive.

↩️

Refunds → credit notes

Refund an order in WooCommerce and a matching credit note appears in Xero automatically.

💳

Payments recorded

When an order is paid, optionally record the payment against the invoice in Xero.

👤

Contacts, sorted

Customers are matched by email or created for you — no duplicate contacts to clean up.

🇦🇺

GST done right

10% AU / 15% NZ, tax-inclusive, or no tax if you're not registered. Pick your Xero account & tax rate.

🛡️

Safe by default

Invoices are drafts you approve. Manual "Sync this order", bulk sync, and a status log with links to Xero.

Questions

Frequently asked

Which accounting software does it support?
Xero, the leading small-business accounting platform in Australia and New Zealand. MYOB support is on the roadmap.
Will it change my books without me?
No. Invoices are created as drafts by default — you review and approve them in Xero. Nothing is finalised automatically.
How is GST handled?
Automatically — 10% for Australia, 15% for New Zealand, tax-inclusive as shown in your store. If you're not GST-registered, invoices are created with no tax. You can also pick a specific Xero tax rate.
What about refunds and payments?
Refunds create matching credit notes in Xero automatically. You can also optionally record a payment against the invoice when an order is paid.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Your Xero connection and tokens are held encrypted on our secure backend. Order details pass through only to create the invoice — they aren't stored. You can disconnect at any time.
How long does setup take, and what does it cost?
About two minutes with a one-click Xero connection. It's free while we're in early access — we just ask for your feedback.
🔒
