Terms of Service

Last updated: 2 July 2026

These terms govern your use of OZ BookSync (the “Service”), operated by OZ Web Expert. By connecting your store to the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

OZ BookSync connects your WooCommerce store to your Xero organisation and creates invoices, credit notes and (optionally) payments from your orders. The Service is currently offered as an early-access product.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be authorised to connect the WooCommerce store and the Xero organisation you link, and to accept these terms on behalf of your business. You are responsible for keeping your store and Xero credentials secure.

3. Your responsibilities

4. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may update, change or discontinue features. We may introduce fees in future; if we do, we will give you notice before any charge applies, and you may disconnect at any time.

5. Warranties and liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from inaccurate records, incorrect tax treatment, or figures you did not review.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law, the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act, or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited to re-supplying the Service.

6. Data

Our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy. You can disconnect at any time from the plugin, which removes your stored Xero connection.

7. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and disconnect at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if the Service is misused or used unlawfully, or where necessary to protect the Service or other users.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Courts of Australia have jurisdiction, without affecting any non-excludable rights you have under the law of your own location.
